Please read these Terms carefully. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by them.

1. Definitions

"Service" means the Mekorot application and website, including all software, text, data, and materials made available through it. "We," "us," and "our" mean Mekorot. "You" and "User" mean the person who accesses or uses the Service, and, where the account is created for a minor, the parent, guardian, or educational institution that accepts these Terms on the minor's behalf. "Content" means all material available through the Service.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for, accessing, or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you accept these Terms on behalf of a minor, you represent that you are authorized to do so and you bind both yourself and the minor. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Accounts for minors are created and administered by a parent, guardian, or educational institution, which is responsible for that account.

4. License to Use the Service

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial, educational purposes. No other rights are granted.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and all Content, and all intellectual property rights in them — including the software, its structure, organization, user interface, designs, and underlying methods — are and remain our exclusive property or that of our licensors, and are protected by copyright and other laws.

6. Restrictions

You shall not, and shall not permit or assist any third party to:

  1. copy, reproduce, modify, translate, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works of the Service or any Content, in whole or in part;
  2. reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, structure, or underlying methods of the Service;
  3. scrape, harvest, or systematically extract Content or data from the Service by any automated or manual means;
  4. create, develop, market, or assist in creating or developing any product or service that is similar to or competing with the Service; or
  5. use the concepts, methods, designs, know-how, or ideas embodied in the Service to design, develop, or offer any product or service.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, and process that content solely to operate and provide the Service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim or demand arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms. Sections 5, 6, 8, 9, and 10 survive termination.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version and effective date above identify the current Terms. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance, and material changes may require you to accept again.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

14. Severability; Entire Agreement

If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
